Your business should have a website, whether you need one or not! That may seem ridiculous, but it’s not. People expect to find businesses on the Web, and if they don’t find you, they assume you’re not staying up to date in important matters… whether that’s true or not!
The prestigious Nielsen rating service determined that “74% of people determine who they will do business with locally using online computerized search engines such as Google and Yahoo”!
If you have thousands of dollars to spend, you can have a designer create a snazzy website that will really stand out. Look at this article for a bit of perspective.
Or you can pay me $10 to install an attractive one for you like this one or one of these others I’ve done:
- Summit Auto Sales
- The Mountain Gallery
- BooBeeBaby Cover-ups
- Home Based Business Group
- Antioch Baptist Church
I’ve done hundreds of sites, but the above will give you an idea of what you can expect. The main thing that makes it possible for me to charge so little is that I install all my websites with WordPress software, and there are zillions of free themes (basic layouts) available. Click here to see a collection of free themes to choose from. If you just can’t decide, I’ll be happy to make a suggestion from those I’ve found attractive and useful.
To have a site installed, you have to put it on a server, which is a computer that’s connected to the Web and equipped to handle visitors to your site. I can maintain your site on one of my servers for $10/month or you can have me put it somewhere else.
You may also need a domain name for your business. The domain name for this website is the-web-doctor.com. I can help you find one that’s available that fits your business, and it’ll cost you $10/year to own it.
Your website is going to need content: articles, menus, product lists, whatever you want your visitors to see. Each item of content on a WordPress site is called a post. You can easily create and edit your own posts with the WordPress software. However, if you think your time would be better spent otherwise, I will be glad to make the posts for you for, yes, $10/post.
Some of my clients have been able to pick up the use of WordPress on their own. Others have found it a bit daunting, so I’m available to provide personal instruction if you live nearby. It will cost you only $10/hour, and there’s a two-hour minimum charge to make it worth the drive.

I build all my websites, both for myself and others, with WordPress software. You should, too, and
